The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath
anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he
hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach
deliverance to the captives, and recovering or sight
to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.
Luke 4:18
1. Jesus is anointed for you: God the Father, God the
Son and God the Holy Spirit decided to save the
world.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should
not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
2. Jesus is anointed for you: God the Father, God
the Son and God the Holy Spirit agreed that Jesus
should take the lead and be born through a virgin.
Jesus is Anointed for You! (The Spirit of the Lord is Upon Me)
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth
his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, …
Galatians 4:4
3. Jesus is anointed for you: God the Father, God the
Son and God the Holy Spirit agreed that the Holy
Spirit would join Jesus at the right time on earth. The
Holy Spirit teamed up with Jesus in the River Jordan.
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway
out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto
him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove,
and lighting upon him:
Matthew 3:16
4. Jesus is anointed for you: After Jesus was anointed
with the Holy Spirit everything changed. Miracles
began to happen and people were healed.
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost
and with power: who went about doing good, and healing
all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Acts 10:38
5. Jesus is anointed for you: Before the Holy Spirit came
Jesus was only known as a carpenter.
Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of
James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his
sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
Mark 6:3
6. Jesus is anointed for you: At the River Jordan the
Holy Spirit came. He whispered to Jesus and said, “I
am here now, things are going to begin to happen.”
And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from
Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.
And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the
heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending
upon him: And there came a voice from heaven, saying,
Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Mark 1:9-11

and with power: who went about doing good, and healing
all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Acts 10:38
7. Jesus is anointed for you: Jesus went to the synagogue
and preached. His very first message was to inform
the people that He was anointed for them. He informed
them that the Holy Spirit had arrived and that things were
going to happen. He told them that He was anointed to
do many great things.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed
me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal
the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives,
and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them
that are bruised,
Luke 4:18
8. Jesus is anointed for you: From the time the Holy
Spirit arrived, miracles began to happen in Jesus’
ministry.
And great multitudes came unto him, having with them
those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many
others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed
them:
Matthew 15:30
But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him:
and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be
healed by him of their infirmities.
Luke 5:15
But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence:
and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
Matthew 12:15
9. Jesus is anointed for you: Jesus Christ is anointed
to shed His blood for you so that you can be saved.
Jesus Christ shed His blood for us through the help of the
eternal Spirit. He was anointed to shed His blood for you
through the eternal Spirit. Receive Jesus today!
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who THROUGH
THE ETERNAL SPIRIT OFFERED HIMSELF without
spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to
serve the living God?
Hebrews 9:14
