And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of
Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would
have no man know it: but he could not be hid.
For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an
unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his
feet:
The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation;
and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil
out of her daughter.
But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled:
for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to
cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto
him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the
children’s crumbs.
And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the
devil is gone out of thy daughter.
And when she was come to her house, she found the
devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.
Mark 7:24-30

1. The further you travel away from home, the more
miracles you will see. A prophet is not accepted in
his own home. Jesus travelled towards the borders of
Tyre and Sidon and saw great miracles there.
And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of
Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have
no man know it: but he could not be hid.

2. Some people are not open and honest about their
families and their problems. This woman admitted
that her daughter had a demon. Instead of covering
up your family problems, open up and accept you
need help for your family.
For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an
unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:

3. Every man of God is anointed and sent to particular
people. When a person is anointed for you, you can
expect your miracle to happen easily.
The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and
she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of
her daughter.
Mark 7:26

4. Jesus explained the scope of His calling by saying that
He could not give the children’s bread to dogs. Even
though the Syrophoenician woman was outside the
scope of His calling, He ministered to her because she
had a lot of faith.
But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for
it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it
unto the DOGS.
Mark 7:27

5. Humility will open you up to the healing power of
God. Many people would have been offended saying,
“Jesus called me a dog.” But this woman was not
offended because she was humble. Her response was
simple, “I accept that I am a dog, but I need your
healing.” Jesus was so impressed with the lady that
He said, “Because of these words you will experience
your healing.”
And she answered and said unto him, YES, LORD: YET
THE DOGS under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.
Mark 7:28

6. What you say is an expression of your faith. The
woman with the issue of blood said within herself, if
I touch him I will be made whole. This woman also
said, every dog can have some crumbs. Watch out for
the things you say because your confessions and your
words are causing miracles to happen.
And he said unto her, FOR THIS SAYING go thy way;
the devil is gone out of thy daughter. And when she was
come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her
daughter laid upon the bed.
Mark 7:29-30

7. The miracle healing of the Syrophoenician woman’s
daughter demonstrates the love of God, the compassion
of Jesus Christ, the greatness of Jesus Christ and the
power of the Holy Spirit.
… For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he
might destroy the works of the devil.
1 John 3:8

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

8. “Go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter”.
When you believe the words of Jesus, the devil will
leave you and the power of the devil over your life will
be destroyed.

9. Humble yourself like the Syrophoenician woman and
believe the words of the Lord Jesus Christ and the
devil will lose access to and control over your life. By
believing in Jesus, you cause the devil to permanently
lose control over your life and you will go to Heaven
for eternity.

10. Humble yourself and receive Jesus Christ as your
Saviour and be washed by the Blood of Jesus.
